We are launching our inaugural Gem Sri Lanka show ‘A Celebration of Gemstones’ which will set the tone and pace for a world class event in the South Asian region. Considering the gamut of Gem and Jewelry exhibitions around the world, we at CGJTA have envisioned a show of global value and scope to bring a new edge to the existing exhibition format. A show that will encapsulate the thriving trade in precious stones in a land steeped in legend.

The Chinafort Gem and Jewellery Traders Association or CGJTA is representative of a dynamic collective, not only of trusted experts but also the younger generation involved in all aspects of the business of gems from Beruwala in southern Sri Lanka which is a hub for gemstones in Sri Lanka, where trust and authenticity is key

Sri Lanka’s precious stones have superlatives such as legendary, priceless, mythical beauty, monarchical treasures etc. attached to them, and rightly so, as Sri Lanka has the highest density of gemstones per its landmass and harnessing its potential will be our goal in showcasing our annual offering to the world.
